GL6 120mm Maximum Drop Channel To Timber Connector - Box 200
The GL6 120mm Timber Connector is a versatile and easy-to-use connector that is used to hang GL1 Lining Channel from timber joists. It is suitable for use in a variety of systems, including:
• Suspended ceilings
• Partition walls
• Lining walls
The GL6 connector is made from strong and durable galvanized steel, and is pre-drilled for quick and easy installation. It has a maximum drop of 120mm, allowing it to be used to create a level and true surface for the plasterboard lining.
To install a GL6 connector, simply screw it to the timber joist using suitable fixings. The connector should be spaced at regular intervals along the joist, typically at 400mm centers. Once the connectors are in place, the GL1 Lining Channel can be attached to them using self-tapping screws.
The plasterboard lining can then be attached to the Lining Channel using drywall screws.
