Gyproc ThermaLine SUPER
Gyproc ThermaLine Super is a Gyproc Wallboard factory-bonded to an high performance, super phenolic foam insulation sheet that is both CFC and HCFC free meaning zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential). Both faces also benefit from a Class 0 fire performance rating, low toxicity and less than 5% smoke obscuration.
Why choose ThermaLine Super Plasterboard Insulation?
ThermaLine Super plasterboard laminates are the ideal choice for both new-build and renovation works when a high levels of insulation is required. A vapour control layer also comes as standard to reduce the risk of condensation. By using ThermaLine Super you will save time and therefore money as the insulation, plasterboard and vapour control layer are all installed at the same time.
Characteristics
● Faced with ivory coloured Gyproc WallBoard
● Backed with brown coloured phenolic foam
● Available in tapered edge only
● Complies with EN 13950
● Thermal Conductivity: WallBoard 0.19W/mK
● Thermal Conductivity: Super phenolic foam 0.020W/mK to 0.021W/mK (dependent on thickness of insulation)
Fixing and finishing
It is possible to either mechanically fix or ‘dot and dab’ this board. When mechanically fixing, care should be taken to ensure the correct fixings are used. If using the ‘dot and dab’ method an appropriate adhesive such as Gyproc Dri-Wall Adhesive should be used.
Once in situ, they are ready for either direct decorating, providing the correct jointing and sealing procedures have been followed or ‘skimmed’ with a suitable plaster finish such as Thistle Board Finish or Thistle Multi Finish.
