Fosroc Flamex Two - 2.5 Litres Tin
Fosroc Flamex Two Sealant is a high performance fire resistant sealant developed by Fosroc, a leading manufacturer of building materials. It is a two-component, intumescent sealant suitable for sealing joints in fire and smoke rated walls and ceilings. The intumescent property of the sealant means that it expands when exposed to heat, providing an effective barrier against the passage of fire, smoke and toxic gases.
This heat resistant substance forms a tough, flexible, rubber-like seal with a movement accommodation factor of 25%.
The sealant has excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates, including concrete, masonry, plasterboard and timber, and is suitable for use in both interior and exterior environments. It is also UV and weather resistant, providing long-term durability. Fosroc Flamex Two Sealant is easy to apply and can be used to fill joints from 5mm - 20mm wide. It is also low odour and non-flammable, making it safe and suitable for use in occupied areas.
